He was a Resident Actor at Kitchen Theatre Company in Ithaca, NY, for 6 years and considers it his artistic home. He continues to work there every season.

Once, he overheard some patrons in a theatre lobby say, “Who the hell is Karl Gregory?” while looking at one of his posters. It remains one of the most humbling moments of his career.  

While on set for an episode of Amazon’s ALPHA HOUSE, Amy Sedaris announced to the entire lunchroom, “KARL LIKES TACOS!”   Even Amy knows.

Karl appeared as “Marcus” on two seasons of NIGHTCAP starring Ali Wentworth and a bunch of other celebs. Both seasons are now streaming on Hulu.

He and his husband, Andrew, split their time between NYC, Ithaca, and Provincetown.
